Plai Arena (“Plai Arena,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a digital platform that helps players, clubs, and organizers coordinate sports participation, sessions, and related community activity. This Policy applies to information we process when you access or use our websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described here and as otherwise communicated to you at the point of collection where required.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited information from third parties.

  • Account information. When you register or sign in, we may collect identifiers such as your name, email address, username or nickname, authentication provider identifiers, password or credential metadata (stored using industry-standard protections), and account preferences.
  • Profile information. You may provide optional profile details such as a profile photo, display name, self-reported skill level, sport preferences, location at city or regional granularity where supported, biographical fields you choose to add, and visibility settings.
  • Club and team affiliations. We process memberships, roles (for example player, coach, organizer, or administrator), invitations, join requests, and club metadata you or your organization supplies.
  • Sports activity and statistics. We collect match and session outcomes, ratings or rankings where applicable, participation history, performance metrics displayed in the product, and derived analytics used to operate features such as ladders, leaderboards, and club reporting.
  • Session participation. We log attendance, queue or court assignments, check-ins, messages or notes tied to sessions where the product allows it, and operational signals needed to run live play flows.
  • Device and usage data. We receive technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate region derived from IP where permitted, diagnostic logs, crash reports, and interaction events that help us secure and improve the Services.
  • Optional user content and uploads. If you upload images, documents, or other materials (for example club branding or profile photos), we store and process that content to display it as you direct.

2. How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes, consistent with applicable law:

  • Providing the Services. Creating and maintaining accounts, authenticating users, enabling clubs and sessions, displaying statistics, and delivering in-product experiences you request.
  • Maintaining statistics and progression systems. Computing rankings, history, and aggregates that are core to how Plai Arena represents competitive and social progression over time.
  • Improving features. Understanding usage patterns, prioritizing product investments, and training internal models only where permitted and without selling personal information.
  • Communication. Sending service-related notices, security alerts, invitations, session reminders, and optional product updates where you have not opted out where required.
  • Safety and security. Detecting fraud, investigating misuse, enforcing our Terms of Service, and protecting the integrity of players, clubs, and infrastructure.
  • Preventing abuse. Rate limiting, bot mitigation, and policy enforcement actions tied to account or device signals.
  • Syncing clubs and sessions. Coordinating schedules, rosters, results, and notifications across devices and participants so organizers and players see consistent information.

3. Team and community visibility

Plai Arena is built for real-world sports communities. Depending on your participation, club configuration, and product settings, certain information may be visible to teammates, coaches, club administrators, opponents, or other members of the same club or session. Examples can include display names, match history, ratings, club rosters, session details, and messages posted in contexts designed for group coordination.

You should assume that information you submit in club-facing or session-facing areas may be accessible to others in that community unless a specific feature clearly limits visibility. 4. Children and minors

Plai Arena is available to users of all ages. If you are a minor, you should use the Services only with any consent or supervision required by the laws of your jurisdiction and with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.

Parents or guardians who believe we have collected information from a child may contact us at support@plai.app to request review or deletion of that information, subject to verification and any legal obligations to retain certain records.

5. Sharing of information

We may share information with the categories of recipients below, only as reasonably necessary to operate the Services:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers that store data and serve application traffic.
  • Analytics providers that help us understand reliability and product usage in aggregate or pseudonymous form.
  • Authentication providers when you choose to sign in through a third-party identity service.
  • Customer support tools that allow us to respond to tickets and investigate issues you report.
